Welcome to Northside Therapies
We treat the person not the symptom
We offer Osteopathy and Massage treatments in a professional and family friendly practice. We are open six days a week and we are conveniently located on Anzac Avenue, Kallangur with onsite parking.
Osteopaths are allied health professionals that use hands on techniques to diagnose and treat restrictions in the tissues of the body. Every patient is unique and thus we strive to understand your individual complaint and the factors that are contributing to it.
Treatment plans are individually designed to address the tissues and factors contributing to your symptoms. Our goal is not only to reduce your pain or discomfort, but to allow your body to function better to improve your overall health.
About Us
Northside Therapies offers Osteopathic and Massage treatments in a beautifully renovated 1950’s farmhouse. The practice caters for all ages. Ramps and wide doorways allow easy access for wheelchairs and prams, along with full disabled bathroom and baby change facilities.
The clinic has a family-friendly focus and welcomes babies and children. We have a dedicated children’s waiting room with toys and activities to keep the kids entertained.
The practice has its own car park to the rear of the building, for easy accessibility. There is also a bus stop out the front of the practice. We are located on Anzac Ave, Kallangur, only a few hundred metres from the Bruce Highway.
We would like to acknowledge the Gubbi Gubbi people who are the traditional custodians of the land on which we work. We would also like to pay respect to the Gubbi Gubbi elders, past, present and emerging, and extend this respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait people from other communities who are here today.

Yesterday we asked on our Instagram stories what you call the female external genitalia?
1. Vagina
2. Vulva
3. A cute pet name
And most of you got it right! The answer is: Vulva
The vulva is the global term that describes all of the structures that make the female external genitalia. It includes the labia majora and minora, clitoris, mons pubis, urethra, vaginal opening and some glands. The vagina is a muscular tube that connects the uterus and cervix to the outside of the body.
It is important we know the correct terms of our body parts. It helps us connect with the area, explain where we have any issues and can be important in describing any assault occurrences.
If you experience any pelvic floor symptoms (including vulvodynia – pain in the vulva), incontinence, prolapse, period pain or pain with intercourse, our pelvic health trained Osteopaths can assist. ... See MoreSee Less
