All our practitioners are fully qualified and registered with the health funds. We offer the HICAPS facility which allows you to claim your health fund rebate on the spot, meaning you only pay the gap fee for treatment. All major health funds participate in the service for osteopathic treatment, however only limited health funds currently use the HICAPS facility for massage. Please check with us or your health fund for further information. We also accept cash, cheque, MasterCard and visa payments.

Veteran Affairs patients

Our osteopaths are registered with the Department of Veteran Affairs, and are able to treat DVA patients who have a referral from their GP. Veteran Affairs payments are billed directly to the DVA.

Work cover

We are also able to treat Work cover patients, again a referral from your GP is required and confirmation from work cover to recognise the claim. Patients are required to pay for their treatments and submit their claim to Work cover themselves. Please note that in most cases there is a gap amount between our fees and work cover, which is met by the patient.

Doctors are able to refer to Osteopaths under the Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPCP). This is for patients with chronic complaints that meet the conditions of the EPCP. Patients may receive up to 5 treatments for which they are eligible for a Medicare rebate. Bulk billing not available, all treatments must be paid upfront and then the  rebate can be made through the Hicaps machine or a receipt can be given for a manual claim at the Medicare office. A referral from the GP for the EPCP is required. For further information about eligibility for an Enhanced Primary Care Plan please contact Medicare or your own GP.

Motor Vehicle Accidents

We are able to see patients involved in motor vehicle accidents, who are claiming through third party insurance. Again prior approval for treatment is usually required.

Northside Therapies offers osteopathic and massage treatments in a beautifully renovated 1950's farm house. The practice caters for all ages. Ramps and wide doorways allow easy access for wheelchairs and prams, along with full disabled bathroom facilities. The clinic has a family friendly focus and welcomes babies and children. We have a dedicated children's waiting room with toys and activities to keep the kids entertained.

The practice has its own car park to the rear of the building, for easy accessibility. There is also a bus stop out the front of the practice. We are located on Anzac Ave, Kallangur, only a few hundred metres from the Bruce Highway.
