Dr Simone Keddy

Bachelor of Applied Science (Clinical Science)
Bachelor of Osteopathic Science

Member of Osteopathy Australia

Simone trained at RMIT in Melbourne, graduating in 1996. Following graduation she practiced in Singapore for two years. She treated a wide range of patients, both expatriates and local Singaporeans, including several television and movie stars, diplomats and elite athletes.

After Singapore and a few months travelling, Simone moved to Newcastle, in the north of England. She practiced there for four years before deciding to return to Australia in July 2003.

Simone has undertaken further study since graduating. She has completed post graduate studies in "Osteopathy in Obstetrics". This involves osteopathic care during pregnancy, as well as considering fertility problems and postpartum complaints.

She has also done postgraduate training in osteopathy in the cranial field ("cranial osteopathy") and combines this with manipulative techniques in her treatments.

Simone has worked with a yoga teacher to design and run yoga classes for people with back problems. These proved very popular, and helped reconnect the patient with their body. This awareness is very important in preventing back problems.

She has featured in a health magazine, answering reader's questions, as well as giving presentations to numerous groups. These include the Singaporean Sports Medicine Association, National Childbirth Trust groups, the Yoga Teachers Association of Singapore, the Home Midwifery Association and her local division of General Practitioners.

Simone offers caring, gentle and effective osteopathic treatment suitable for all ages. She uses a wide variety of osteopathic techniques, chosen to suit each patient and their complaint. She has a special interest in fertility, pregnancy and post partum complaints.

Simone is married to Adrian and has 3 beautiful boys.
